opportunity once that has

include: option theory,
pricing models, dynamics and
sensitivities of a position,
behavior of that position
with movement, knowing the

"Theory and education is
great but being live in a
dynamic fast moving market
challenges the academic.
"the proof is and the

"Recently on Monday November
27th 2006 , the day after
Black Friday, the biggest
retail weekend of the year,
and the beginning of the
Santa Claus rally and in the
so-called middle of a bull
rally, the markets decided
to take a nasty crash. The
NASDAQ plunged 54 points and
the Dow down 158, S&P down
19 all in one day. Most
long traders would be having
a real bad day.
"Previous to Monday on
the close of Friday I had
open, 9 trades. The
trades are real, they are
multi-legged option
contracts for a hundred
shares each of $50 stocks.
The total value of the
underling contracts is an
excess of $30,000 ($50 x100
and $65, $35,$17,$42,$ 49
$44 all x 100 shares). I am
hedging 100 short share
against 100 long share for
smaller risk . I am
leveraging the bigger
movements of a larger amount
with a smaller amount and
limiting my risk. My maximum
risk is for the debits only,
and the difference between
the strikes. The total is
less than $800. This amount
is also hedged to some
degree by the opposite sides
of the same trade, spread
out in time, buying the back
month and selling the front
month. Two of the trades are
a collar, and a conversion
which I will not spend time
on here.
"Now I am feeling relaxed
and not apprehensive about
opening my account page to
see where my balance is.
This feeling alone is
invaluable.
"As the very bearish day
proceeded, my bullish
portfolio did slightly
better than break-even and
even made a profit on such a
down day. I began to change
my opinion about my
positions and liquidated
some, and adjusted others. I
placed a total of 11 orders
that got filled, eight of
which were option orders
with a bid ask spread cost
to me of .05, that equals
$40. 11 trades generated $11
of commission for a total
Trading cost of $51. At the
end of the day, my portfolio
was $13 lower than the end
of the day on Friday
overcoming $38 of trading
costs. My knowledge of
morphing and adjusting and
hedging made this possible
on a very volatile bad day
on Wall Street.

night because I was so
thrilled to have dodged a
bullet and defended my
portfolio. It was better
than making money, well
maybe not. The knowledge I

the points he shows in the covered call/buy-write
strategy. He tell us why to use the covered call.
Income generation, profiting from stagnation,
increasing the probability of profit. Generating

amount of calls. Then he goes on to explain how to
use the covered call to profit in a slow stock
uptrend move.

I just had to update you on my recent results. Over the last few days I have made more than a year's income on 2 options positions. You know where I work and I am well into the 6 digits. When I say made, I mean taken off the table, net profits in my account. I am not talking about paper profits or paper trading profits. I attribute this amount of my success to OU. Why? It was through the excellent information I received in the Mastery class. First, I made some proper risk/reward calculations going into 2 trades. The trades in particular are RIMM and PCLN. Once I knew I wanted to be in these trades I constructed them properly using Ron's methodology. Once in the trades I have made several trade adjustments pulling profit out each time. Even though the profits I have pulled out are outstanding, the best part is that I am still in the trades and have even more profits. I also attribute this success to Ron's methodology of fitting the best strategy to the situation. Most of what I see out there are people teaching a strategy then selling tools to seek out matching trades. This is reverse of what needs to be done and usually causes a person to force a trade. Ron teaches to assess the situation first, then fit the best options strategy to the situation. The result is that I know exactly why I went into trade, I knew exactly when to get out, and better still, how to manage and morph the trade for maximum profits as the trade unfolds. Most people try a combination of prediction and 'odds' based trading and get burned. This approach is read-react, repeat.
The only downside is that the profits are all in my Roth IRA. You know tax free. I can't spend it today but large tax free profits are large tax free profits.

I would like to extend my personal thank you for your desire, your dedication and your due diligence in teaching options in a way I could understand. A way that provides the foundation to take my options trading to another level.
Let's face reality. Without proper education of options I am a firm believer that the beginner and even the novice options trader will be short lived in the market. I for one do not desire to be an extinct options trader. That is why I chose to dedicate myself to learning options the Options University way - the right way.
Prior to taking the Options Mastery class I new what a call was. It was when the market called me for my money. Prior to taking the Options Mastery class I new what a put was. I was when I put my money to the market and not to my account.

Brett, I personally felt that Ron lived up to every thing he promised if we would invest our time and money learning things we would need to be a great trader. He is a man of his word. In addition to teaching live classes, he has provided a website for people like me who had schedule changes in their jobs to learn when we had the time. I learned so much that it is hard to pin point any one session as better than the next. I definitely like how Ron has accommodated everyone who wants to learn every opportunity to do so. Thank you for an amazing class. Your Options Mastery Series course is by far the best trading related course I have taken. The course content is incredible, the price is exceptionally reasonable, the online classes are very convenient and having the CDs and class archives to review is invaluable. Prior to taking your course I had taken option courses from one of your well known competitors. The difference between your class and theirs is night and day. I walked out of their courses with a set of generic rules to use to determine the strategy, strike and expiration. I had rules to follow but I did not understand why I was following those rules or what the true risks were in a trade. After taking your class I now understand that in most cases their generic rules were not correct but more importantly I understand how to determine the strategy, strike and expiration based on my expectations for the trade and I understand how a position will profit as well as where the risk exposures lie.
